These terms apply when you buy or download a book from this website. The books are written by Ahmed El-Shabasy and sold by SHABASY LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales. Contact: ahmedshabasy27@gmail.com.
We sell digital phrasebooks in PDF format: The Egyptian Arabic Survival Kit and The Arabic Survival Kit (Modern Standard Arabic). Each is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Free samples are also offered in exchange for your email address.
Orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy takes your payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, and issues your receipt. Its own buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
You get a download link straight after payment, by email and on the confirmation page. If the link does not arrive, email us and we will send the file.
When you buy a book, you get a personal, non-transferable licence to read and print it for your own learning. You may not share, resell, upload or publish the files, in whole or in part. Teachers and schools who want to use a book with a class can email us for a group licence.
If the book is not for you, email us within 14 days of buying and we will refund you in full, for any reason. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
All content is the original work of Ahmed El-Shabasy and is protected by copyright. We take care to make every phrase accurate, but the books are learning aids, and we are not responsible for misunderstandings when you use them.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability for any purchase is limited to the price you paid.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protection of the consumer laws where you live.
We may update these terms. The version shown when you buy applies to that purchase.
